RANTHAMBORE Half Day & Full Day Safari

RanthamboreHalf Day & Full Day Safari

Recently the management of Ranthambore National Park has changed rules and regulation and now allow longer timed safari to a selected few numbers of vehicles that permits visitors to stay on safari. These are known as “Half Day” (for six hours) and “Full Day” (for twelve hours) safaris. Both safaris offer far more flexibility to visitors.

Half-day safari in Ranthambore

Visitors can now spend more time in the national park than the usual 3.30 hours by booking a half-day safari. Offers the opportunity to enter the entire park zone for free. Half-day tickets he is issued in two variations. 1) From sunrise to noon. or 2) from noon to sunset, up to 6 hours.

*Visitors will receive a safari breakfast/lunch pack

Full-day safari in Ranthambore

A visitor can now spend his day in the national park. A maximum of 5 jeeps are permitted in the park from sunrise to sunset, providing zone-free access throughout the park. This safari offers the best chance to see a wide variety of wildlife within the park.

*Visitors receive a packed breakfast and lunch and have a place and time to eat at the park

Advantages of Full day / Half day

MORE TIME - Spending more time in the park simply means more time tracking tigers and other wildlife. Throughout the day, visitor entry is allowed 15 minutes before the normal entry time, with an additional 15-minute time slot after the normal safari time. We all know how important extra time is. If you find a tiger before everyone arrives, you don't have to abandon an interesting topic just because the normal safari time is over. Minutes and hours matter.

Better Sighting Opportunities - With the extra time and zone-free access there are more sighting opportunities compared to a regular safari. As far as you know your Jeep may be the only Jeep at the moment.

No Route Restrictions - A regular safari requires you to travel along a pre-determined route. Even if you're confident that a particular route can be discovered, sometimes it can be frustrating to not be able to secure it. You can navigate to any zone of your choice and switch from one zone to another as many times as you like. This gives you complete freedom when spotting wildlife.

Hassle-Free - On regular safaris, it can be difficult to have a similar safari experience every safari as you get a different guide and driver each time. I have a naturalist. This is a huge advantage as they know your preferences, know your gear and take photos to help you plan your safaris and sightings.

Additional information:

  • All permits are issued by Ranthambore National Park, which reserves the right to approve or deny applications for a full/half-day safari.
  • Full-day/half-day permits (5 per day) are limited in number per day and must be requested in advance to guarantee entry.
  • Park management randomly appoints safari vehicles, drivers, and naturalists. The visitor, for an additional fee, he can choose from two. Please email [email protected] for additional costs and vehicle, driver, and naturalist availability.

The above benefits that these special safaris offer make these special safaris more flexible and productive. Visitors can spend more time among wildlife without being confined to fixed zones and can choose the best drivers, naturalists, and vehicles. In practice, this makes a big difference in the quality of the safari. Especially for photographers and visitors with a special interest.
